Equine Facilitated Learning
Hertha Wolff-Arend is a certified Business Coach and a certified Equine Guided Educator. She is also the author of the book Be a Woman and Act Like One, Succeeding in Business and Life and she writes a blog for women under the same title.
Hertha graduated from New Ventures West in San Francisco, CA as a Certified Integral Coach and started her own business coaching practice in 2007. She is also accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation), and is also certified as an Equine Guided Educator by Skyhorse Ranch – an ICF recognized training program.
Hertha offers equine-guided leadership and team-building training as well as personal coaching with horses at her Central Coast ranch near Paso Robles, California. For more information about her coaching with horses programs, click here.
Hertha combines her life-long passion for horses with her business coaching skills and her management experience to fulfill her mission of helping men and women stay in charge of their lives.

Hertha’s History
Born and raised in Germany, Hertha spent most of her adult life in Europe. She has a German university degree in languages and economics and she worked for many years in the advertising industry as one of the few female managing directors in Germany for major international advertising agencies such as Young&Rubicam, TBWA and Bates.
In 2004 Hertha relocated with her husband and son to the Central Coast of California. She lives on a horse ranch near Paso Robles and Lake Nacimiento with her coaching horses, three goats, two cats and three dogs (but who’s counting). Hertha is fluent in German and English and has conversational skills in Spanish.
